Down and Out

Okay, so I lied!  I had Reg take down all of the Christmas decorations today.  I'm ready to move on.  Time to get ready for my grandson Jacob to get here.  I mean, we start Lamaze classes on the 7th I think!  I guess I'd better get that straight, I'm the coach!
I'm having a decorator come out after the first to hopefully help me pull the house together.  Window coverings, odds 'n' ends, you know, the stuff that really throws me.  If we could only get it done before March 8th!
Oh, and Reg and I are doing an early dinner on NYE, then home for some chilled Champagne and cigars.  Quiet, easy.  I have a feeling it'll just be Reg, Kate and me.  Hummm, sounds like a good way to start off a busy, busy year!

So we're Christmas freaks 'round here!  We have the Santa and the Gold tree up--the family tree is just waiting to be unpacked.  I loooove Christmas, always have.  If I could have my way, the decorations would stay up all year.  Well, maybe not all year, but until Spring at least.  I can feel the same anticipation that I felt as a child, the kind you can't breath through, you just survive.  I've been collecting Grandma Christmas books for a coupla years now, to read out loud to my grandbabies.  Sigh.....CAN'T WAIT!
